The University of Mary, Bismarck, ND, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time assistant or associate professor position in the Social Work Program in the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, beginning in the fall of 2013. The University of Mary offers a CSWE accredited BSW program with approximately 50 undergraduate majors.

The responsibilities of this faculty rank position include serving as Director of Field Education for the Program and as a faculty field liaison for one of the two levels of field experience required in the Program; this will also include teaching the related seminar class. Additional responsibilities include teaching the first practice course, group practice course, and first level of Human Behavior/Social Environment. All faculty are expected to advise students within the major and be an active member of University community.

This position requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program with a minimum of two years of post-MSW social work practice experience. Applicants must also have a doctorate in social work or related field. Candidates with ABD will be considered, provided the dissertation is completed prior to beginning employment. Candidates must obtain social work licensure in the state of North Dakota prior to beginning employment. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. The University of Mary is an EEO/AA employer.
