Professional contract position available immediately.
Responsibilities: oversee the development, coordination, implementation, marketing and evaluation of the Guardian Scholars Program providing post-secondary access and success services for students transitioning out of the foster care system in Indiana.
Minimum qualifications: master's degree in social work, adult education, counseling, or related human services field; supervisory experience; experience in presenting information to professionals and leading groups; program management experience; experience with proposal writing and/or fundraising; strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written); ability to work independently as well as part of a team and represent the Guardian Scholars Program and the Social Science Research Center in a professional manner to both on-and off-campus audiences; strong ability to identify priorities, multi-task, and work under pressure and deadlines; ability to organize, author, and produce materials and reports in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner; valid driver's license and insurable under the university's fleet policy.
Preferred qualifications: experience with foster care systems and foster care youth; experience with academic support and/or student services programs; experience in college recruitment; experience with software, preferably Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and database management. Candidates for professional contract positions must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
