The University of Notre Dame ( is accepting applications for an Associate Director for Planning & Development to represent the Mendoza College of Business' Nonprofit Professional Development (NPD - unit which includes the MNA in various identified projects that promote the MNA Mission to develop exemplary leaders for nonprofit organizations. This is a new position that has been created to strengthen the infrastructure of the MNA Program's graduate degree and executive education programs nationally and internationally. 

The Associate Director will guide the implementation of the Strategic Plan for the NPD Program which will involve these priorities: 
  • Developing a nonprofit research agenda for the Mendoza College of Business' NPD Program.
  • Expanding the culture of the NPD Program's degree and executive education activities to include international opportunities including China.
  • Additional duties include the following:
  • Design curricula for, and teach, both degree and non-degree courses within the nonprofit business competence area.
  • Assist the MNA Director to increase the brand of the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business as a major resources to the nonprofit sector within and beyond the United States.
  • Additional miscellaneous activities as assigned.
A Ph.D./Ed.D. in organizational behavior or other applicable discipline is required. Must have a minimum of 7 years in executive management and/or academic leadership within the nonprofit sector and focused on the nonprofit sector. Previous experience in designing, implementing, and evaluation executive education programs will be valuable. The skills needed for this position include leadership and strategic planning, management of business partnerships, curriculum development, excellence in writing and public speaking and the creative design of evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
