We are currently recruiting for an Executive Director of Alumni Engagement for the Northwestern Alumni Association.

The Executive Director for the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA) is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the alumni programs and executive support of the Alumni Association Board. S/he sets strategic direction for alumni programs reflecting the world-class stature of Northwestern University. S/he is responsible for planning and implementing programs and projects that promote alumni and university relationships, strategically engage alumni, and strengthen volunteer opportunities that provide tangible benefits to alumni and current students. S/he will enhance and foster alumni outreach and engagement efforts in current areas which include: alumni events, online networking and social media opportunities, and on-and-off-campus alumni groups and activities. S/he will develop new initiatives that bring alumni to greater understanding and support Northwestern's strategic plan for next decade. S/he will concentrate on integrating the alumni experience with alumni participation in financial support of the University and will help set strategy and programming to increase annual alumni donor participation rates.

S/he must be able to communicate, organize and lead effectively. S/he must work collaboratively with a diverse network of volunteers, students, faculty, staff and community partners to promote the best interests of the Alumni Association and the University.

This position requires significant travel as well as nontraditional hours that include weekends and evenings.
