Job Description: Teach a variety of Food and Beverage Management courses with differing modes of instruction, lecture, demonstration and practical applications of course materials. Assist in the promotion of Food and Beverage Programs. Provide an excellent teaching experience. Student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development. Participate in program/division meetings and activities. Serve on department and college-wide committees. Keep abreast of current industry trends and participate in local professional organizations.

Required Qualifications: This position is open until filled. For full consideration all application related material must be submitted no later than 01/31/2013.

Required: BA degree in related field from a regionally accredited college or university and must have or obtain within one year of employment certification in Sanitation,and Techniques of Alcohol Management; five years of direct Food and Beverage Management experience; five years of general hands-on food and beverage experience; minimum of one year successful documented teaching experience (full or part time); skills in use and operation of basic computers and Point of Sale register systems. ServSafe Certified.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in related field from a regionally accredited college or university; background in differing food service styles, in beverage management and service and experience in dining room service, food production, food purchasing and receiving, cash controls procedures and food and beverage controls. Direct experience with the Micros Point of Sale System and MenuPro.
