This new position serves the mission and directives of IUPUI by working collaboratively with the Enrollment Services Offices (Undergraduate Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Multicultural Outreach, Passport Program) and campus academic units to achieve student recruitment, outreach, admissions, enrollment, retention, and graduation objectives by managing the key systems that have been developed to automate and customize communications, specifically the implementation of the University's Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system. This position will consult with campus academic units and provide leadership, coordination, and matrix-style supervision of cross-functional teams supporting a strategic communication plan for IUPUI where a student is truly "a stranger to us only once." Along with the CRM Technical Analyst, this individual will be critical to developing a new constituent relationship culture across the campus in support of improved customer and student services, leading to improved recruitment, retention and graduation.

The incumbent will design and conduct campus needs assessments, provide assistance with the conceptualization and construction of communication campaigns, translate functional needs appropriately into the system, develop standards and business practices to best utilize the CRM system and program features. In addition, he or she will gather and analyze data, design and implement assessment plans, make recommendations for improvement. He or she will acquire and maintain knowledge of social media communication possibilities and provide consulting expertise to implement into an overall communication strategy for campus departments.

This position will provide project management leadership and expertise in functional configuration, collection and implementation based on knowledge of business processes, various student systems and the relationship to CRM. He or she will also develop standards and best practices, gather and analyze data, design and implement assessment plans, make recommendations for improvement, coordinate campus training, documentation development, and communication and support efforts with particular emphasis on user needs.

Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics or a closely related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a university setting working with key automation systems within enrollment, admissions, financial aid, etc. A combination of related education and experience may be considered on a 2:1 ratio.

Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving aptitudes and skill; technical knowledge to analyze the business processes and systems to identify and resolve problems, recommend solutions or modifications and insure data integrity and delivery; strong listening as well as oral and written communication skills; collaborative tendencies and consulting skills; demonstrated ability to self-monitor quality control and accuracy; and the ability to work on multiple projects are essential. Experience working with enrollment management environments as well as CRM tools desired. Previous experience working with a team is helpful.
