The School of Nursing has an immediate opening for a qualified applicant to apply for a part-time or full-time 12-month Research Technologist position. This position is part of a federally-funded research project. Primary responsibilities of this appointment are to assist with (a) coordinating, performing, and documenting mouse procedures and responses to procedures; (b) train other personnel; (c) ensure accurate performance of mouse procedures and compliance with animal regulations; and (d) assist with report, presentation, and manuscript preparation.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Preference will be given to those with laboratory mouse experience, communication skills using different types of media, attention to detail, and workload management skills.

Salary range is $50,000-$80,000 annually for full-time contingent upon education, experience, and the labor market.
