Full-time professional administrative position that directs and enhances conduct efforts as well as summer conferences within the Department of Housing and Residence Life. This position is part of the management team within the department and reports to the Director of Housing and Residence Life.

The Assistant Director of Student Conduct responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: serving as a high level hearing officer for housing cases, administering and monitoring residential conduct cases and trends, training housing conduct officers, serving on the Behavior Intervention Team, serving as a liaison with the Dean of Students Office and the Public Safety Office, maintaining the student conduct software including serving as the software administrator, and overseeing the summer conference operations. Under the supervision of the Associate Director, supervise Area Coordinator and Graduate Assistant staff. Serve in the mid-manager on call rotation.
Master's degree in higher education administration, student services, university housing, or similar field required. Three to five years of experience in housing and/or student service related programs in higher education preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with complex procedures and processes related student housing and conduct required. Experience in the development and presentation of workshops and programs is required. Successful candidate will possess an understanding of the educational, cultural, social and recreational needs of the campus community in general and residential students specifically. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong organizational and time management required. Ability to manage demands in a setting of high student contact and interaction required; problem solving skills also required. Proven commitment to diverse perspectives and a strong career interest in the field of university housing required.
