Assistant or Associate Professor of Physical Therapy
The Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for one or two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The desired start date is fall 2013. We are looking for individuals who wish to join an outstanding faculty team of 17 in our nationally recognized programs within the College of Health Sciences.
Primary responsibilities: Opportunities for teaching and scholarship in areas of expertise across the entry-level DPT, post-professional MHS/DHS, and/or physical therapist assistant programs. Additional responsibilities include academic and research advising and service to the university, college, and community.
Desired areas of expertise: Expertise in research methods/ statistics, general clinical skills and therapeutic exercise, neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, health promotion, or care of medically complex individuals is preferred; however, expertise in other areas of physical therapy will be considered.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications):
- A terminal academic doctoral degree or substantial progress toward completion of a terminal degree (PhD, EdD, DHS)
- Eligibility for Indiana physical therapy licensure
- Experience as a successful academic and/or clinical teacher
- Evidence of an ongoing or developing scholarly agenda
- A record of involvement within the professional community
- Ability to function well within a collegial, collaborative work environment
