The Department of Physical Education and Recreation at Catawba College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Clinical Coordinator of Athletic Training Education. This is a full time 10-month tenure track position that includes teaching, advising, and serving on department, college, and university committees as needed. The Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by CAATE and the clinical coordinator position includes programmatic, administrative, and supervisory responsibility of the clinical aspect of the program.
1. Earned doctorate, ABD considered
2. NATABOC certified
3. NC license eligible
4. Experience with a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program
5. Experience in clinical supervision of athletic training students
6. Experience in teaching undergraduate athletic training classes
7. Experience in academic advising of students
Catawba College fields 17 men and women's athletic teams at the NCAA Division II level and is a member of the South Atlantic Conference.
