The Project Coordinator serves as a public operations contact for the Lied Institute and is responsible for the management of its daily operations. This position reports to the Director and will work with the Director and staff of the Lied Institute to interface professionally with community partners, external advisory groups, and the Institute to meet the goals and objectives of the Lied Institute. This position is established as the centralized point of contact and disseminates UNLV policies, strategies, and objectives pertaining to the Lied Institute's mission. The incumbent is expected to serve and represent the Institute on various committees and groups with appropriate university departments and programs, government officials, and the real estate community.

This position requires bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent experience and at least two years relevant or administrative office experience ; demonstrated high-level skill in use of Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat applications. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills. Must have the ability to prioritize, coordinate multiple projects and events simultaneously, and demonstrated critical-thinking abilities. Must have sound judgment, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to pay attention to detail.

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
