Director of the Harre Union

Valparaiso University welcomes applications for the position of Director of the Harre Union. The Director is responsible for the overall administration and leadership of the 202,000 square foot Harre Union which includes programs and services, student activities, operations, facilities management, staff supervision, scheduling, fiscal management, and marketing. The Union Director also administers the University's camps and conferences program.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, or related field with at least 5-7 years of work-related experience in college union and student activity work. In addition, the preferred candidate will have prior experience and well-developed skills in the student activities and operations areas of college unions as well as a thorough understanding of the mission of the college union. The Director also must have an understanding and support of the mission and values of Lutheran higher education.
