The City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) District 508, is the largest community college system in Illinois and one of the largest in the nation, with 5,800 faculty and staff serving 120,000 students at seven campuses and thirteen satellite sites city-wide. The City Colleges of Chicago is currently in the midst of a collaborative effort to review and revise CCC programs and practices to ensure students leave CCC college-ready, career-ready and prepared to pursue their life's goals.

CCC includes seven colleges: Richard J. Daley College, Kennedy-King College, Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, Harry S Truman College, Harold Washington College and Wilbur Wright College. The system also oversees: the Washburne Culinary Institute, the French Pastry School, two restaurants, five Child Development Centers, the Center for Distance learning, the Workforce Institute, the public broadcast station WYCC-TV Channel 20 and radio station WKKC-FM 89.3FM.

The position is responsible for, but not limited to, the ongoing growth and development of TDL bridge program within Adult Education at Olive Harvey.

Works closely with the liaisons, administrative staff at the Community College, operating staff, Case Management and Assessment staff. Manages any and all required data information systems, including oversight of the information required for ICCB and CCC; coordinates with Liaisons and operating staff on client in-take activities, including referral of clients to potential employers.

Serves as liaison between the project staff, the College, and students involved in the program. Coordinates the interpretation and data entry of client progress through training classes and work experiences. Completes reports for review by College and project staff. Attends on-campus, teleconferencing and training sessions with project staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

All CCC employees are required to adhere to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.

Bachelor's degree, in Transportation, Distribution, or Logistics, Career Guidance, Higher Education, Student Personnel, Management, Marketing, or related field is required. Should possess two to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Demonstrated skills in operating and applying microcomputer software and word processing, spreadsheet and database application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well as a team player. Must be self-directed and innovative, able to assess current operations in an effort to improve the future goals of the District. Must be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
