Posting Description: The Children's Outcomes Research Program (COR) has an opening for a full-time (Professional Research Assistant (PRA) to provide research support to project investigators, assist with implementing research protocols, and other research tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The position may also involve assisting with COR programmatic needs, such as staffing, budget management, and other duties as determined by COR's Director, Dr. Allison Kempe. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health-related field, plus at least 3 years of experience in a research environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook), and experience conducting Internet searches Ability to work as a team member and work effectively with diverse people Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum accountability
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and abilities: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications inclduing Excel, Word, Outlook and Access; Versatility and the ability to operate effectively and effeciently according to the needs and demands of concurrent projects
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field Experience with database management using Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft Customer Relation Management System (CRM) Previous employment in a university environment Past experience submitting protocols to an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Experience with reference management software
