WSU seeks full-time Assistant Professor of French, tenure track, to teach multi-level courses, beginning August 15, 2014. Req'd: Ph.D. in French in hand by start date. Native or near-native fluency in French and English. Demonstrable proof of excellence in college teaching and a commitment to research and service are essential, including familiarity with the ACTFL National Standards and their application; OPI rater or tester certified; dedication to program building; experience in Study Abroad; genuine concern for the development of competent, committed students; willingness to participate in related extra- and co-curricular events; commitment to high quality undergraduate education.
